DAGMA celebrates its 35th anniversary
Exactly 35 years ago, on June 30, 1987, an adventure began that continues to this day! Three friends, a few ideas, a handful of knowledge and a solid dose of enthusiasm – this was the recipe for building a brand that employs over 200 people today. At that time, DAGMA became, among others, a leader in providing digital security solutions, ensuring the protection of nearly 150,000 companies and institutions in Poland.
DAGMA is a brand that operates in several areas - providing IT security solutions, conducting cybersecurity training, and distributing construction ceramics and bathroom equipment. The company's latest projects are DAGMA Art, which aims to promote contemporary art and DAGMA Photo Studio, which carries out professional photo sessions worldwide. It also has a photographic studio, one of the most modern in Poland.
The idea for the company was born in the late 1980s. At that time, three graduates of the University of Economics in Katowice decided to invest their savings in business activities based on foreign trade. Initially, they were looking for a profitable niche that they could successfully develop on the then-booming domestic, free market. The decisions taken by the owners turned out to be correct. Those decisions turned an initially small company into a large and stable brand respected on the domestic and international market.
After 35 years of functioning, DAGMA is certainly a brand created by people. It may be a simple and obvious phrase, but thanks to team play, we are in a place that allows us to see more. Thanks to this, we have become recognisable on the market, reliable for partners and customers from around the world, and we can implement bold ideas for further development. We still have a lot to do, but we are sure that 35 years of experience and a great team of people are the key to realising our visions
